Creating this site took a bit longer than I had hoped. It involved about a month of planning and another month just tweaking the WordPress layout. A lot of the delay came from trying to balance my day job while working on this as a side project. I’m feeling a bit nervous about it since I’m not sure how people will respond. Then again, it’s not like I’m building a mainstream website.
Now that the website tweaks are complete, I just need to focus on creating content, which will probably take another month or so. Vore is such a diverse topic, and I hope to cover more categories over time—but we’ll see.
Getting people to visit the site will be a bit of a challenge, though maybe I’m just overthinking it. It’s both exciting and daunting. Promoting an NSFW website is especially tricky since it’s such a niche topic, and most social media platforms steer clear of this type of content—except for platforms like X and Bluesky.
Anyway, please consider subscribing to the free tier on SubscribeStar or Patreon so you can access the Discord server and participate by sharing your suggestions.
So, Carnivore Cafe, huh? You might be wondering how I came up with that name. If it sounds kinda similar to that infamous BBforums site The Cannibal Cafe (you know, the one linked to that wild Armin Meiwes case), you’re not wrong. It got me thinking—what if there was a maid cafe where the maids either got eaten or did the eating? Fun, right?
I started checking available domains, and unsurprisingly, “cannibalcafe” was a no-go. Same with “carnivorecafe.” But then I stumbled upon “carnivore cafe” without the extra “the,” and I thought, why not? It even has this cheeky vibe like “Can I vore?” Perfect. Once I locked it in, I went all in on the site.
As someone with a background in UX/UI design, it’s been a blast working on this—especially since I don’t have to follow those rigid corporate rules. No more generic corporate Memphis style for me, thank you very much! It’s pure creative chaos, and I’m loving it.
Let’s be real—social media platforms are a mess these days. Algorithms change constantly, and jumping ship to the next trendy platform feels like starting from scratch every time. (Looking at you, X-to-Bluesky exodus!) Having a website feels like claiming your own little permanent corner of the internet. Sure, it doesn’t bring the same level of engagement as social media, but I’m okay with having a smaller, more dedicated audience. Plus, social media feels like screaming into the void half the time—posts get buried under bots, reshares, and randomness.
The plan is to build something more lasting and personal. I want the site to grow with input from the community. Members can suggest ideas through the Discord channel, and while I can’t turn every suggestion into a comic or piece of content, I’ll archive them for future inspiration. If someone submits a short story, it’ll be posted with full credit. It’s all about collaboration and creativity.
For now, I’m keeping it simple—focusing on comics and art. But who knows? Down the line, if the resources are there, I’d love to expand into gaming or animation. I’m not trying to bite off more than I can chew (pun intended), but the potential for growth is exciting. Let’s see where it goes!
So, if you’re curious about how I got into vore, let me take you on a little journey. It started as pure morbid curiosity—like, “What even is this?”—but then I got hooked on the visuals. I’m not big on role-playing (introvert here), and honestly, I’m more of a “sit in the corner and draw” type. I don’t actively engage much; I’m more of a voyeur. What I really enjoy is creating scenarios and bringing them to life through art.
Oh, and if any random normies happen to stumble across this—chill. Everything you see here is pure fantasy. Don’t go full conspiracy theorist like that dude who found the Zambian Meat website and thought it was real-life cannibalism and trafficking. Relax, okay?
Anyway, vore has always kind of been lurking in the background of media, even if unintentionally. I mean, there’s the Bible story about Jonah getting swallowed by a whale (and somehow living), and Pinocchio rescuing his dad from inside a whale’s stomach—like, how even? Stuff like that stuck with me as a kid. I’d doodle little scenes of people being swallowed by animals, nothing too deep.
Fast forward to the late ’90s, when the internet came along and basically exploded with every fetish you never knew existed. Textbooks can’t keep up, honestly. I remember stumbling across Japanese fetish art—lots of characters with big bellies—and being like, “Huh, okay, weird flex.” But I didn’t really think much of it at the time because, well, life.
Then the pandemic hit, and while working on a comic project, I had this chapter where a character gets swallowed by a snake. I was googling references and kept seeing all these images of women in fishnet stockings being eaten by snakes. It was oddly specific, and there were so many. Naturally, curiosity took over, and I started digging deeper. That’s when I found vore subreddits and realized there’s a whole community of people into this stuff.
Eventually, I ended up on Eka’s Portal. The logical next step? Make an account and start sharing my art. The feedback was amazing—it really motivated me to keep going. And here I am now, still creating and enjoying the process.
That’s it for now. Thanks for reading!
